July 23, 2021 – August 8, 2021 – The 2020 summer Olympic Games, the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, take place in Tokyo, Japan.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games feature 339 events in 33 different sports, encompassing 50 disciplines.
The world’s top surfers will compete on Japan’s spectacular Pacific coastline. Men and women will take part in in Shortboard tournaments, striving to perform the most impressive aerials and tube rides.
It is the second time that Japan, and specifically Tokyo, has hosted the Summer Olympic Games – the first being in 1964.
